This 203 page book was a great read. This was one of the few that was so compelling and easy to read that I burned through it within 24 hours of receiving it in the mail. Jeff Myers puts the cookies on the bottom shelf for us. He clearly points out how the Christian worldview and its ideas are competing with other flawed worldviews. What he does best is stack several worldviews together (Secularism, Marxism, Postmodernism, New Spirituality, and Islam) and shows us how they compare to each other and also how they interact with the deepest questions of life.
I found this book so compelling that when I was done readying it, I immediately went to the summit.org store and purchased the curriculum for this book so that we can use it in a class study.
I make it a point to examine worldview and the way people process the world. Even so, this book pointed out a few areas in my life where I am not necessarily thinking consistently. That makes it worth the read right there. I encourage you to consider adding this book to your personal library...and get it to the top of your reading list.
